john-constantines-spells:

“By the Judge of the Living and the Dead! By that, who has the power to cast into Hell! Leave this kingdom immediately!”

Arrow 4×05: Haunted.

I’m unsure what this incantation does – help? (from Forever Dreaming)

“Per júdicem vivórum et mortuórum! Qui habet potestatem mittere in infernum! Ut abire ex regno protinus!”

“By the Judge of the Living and the Dead! By that who has the power to cast into Hell! Leave this kingdom immediately!”

(Note: Exact same spell used to banish Furficer back to Hell in Constantine 1×01)

Update #1 with thanks to @thehallofjudgment:

“By the Judge of the Living and the Dead! By that who has the power to cast into Hell! Leave this kingdom immediately!”

Spell to allow travel to the realm of the dead? (from Springfields)

“Pelako ameso yobe eleggua imbone ukuchila panshita. De domino vestro, aliquis. Et stabit de domino vestro. Audite vocem meam. Ancor, anchor, candones helosi et vos eleutis phugori. De cruinne-ce agus akasha seall me do solas!”

(My note/observation: it seems like John used a combination of an African language or dialect – Bemba – and Latin? We can draw parallels between the incantations used in this episode to Constantine 1×01 and 1×02)
