I’m a huge DC (and Vertigo) fan, so these panels kind of amuse me as a reader, since it combines both of my interest.
I guess the two cards are a perfect representation of how the tarot can be both literal and symbolic.
(Some background information: Jason Blood is the human host/bond of Etrigan the demon. They were bound together by Merlin during Arthur’s time.)
